our mission

The Stride Project is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for cancer patients and their families through a combination of fundraising and fitness challenges. The financial resources raised are directed towards sponsored families who have shared their stories with us. These funds are allocated to address their unique and pressing needs during this transformative and challenging period.

Cancer statistics 2023

In 2023, 1,958,310 new cancer cases and 609,820 cancer deaths are projected to occur in the United States.

The most common type of cancer on the list is breast cancer, with 300,590 new cases expected in the United States in 2023.
